Katlyn is the baker behind 爱LoveCookies. Her self-described “crazy Asian cookie combos” have been nicknamed the Asian Crumbl Cookies.
Taking inspiration from the flavors she grew up with, Katlyn puts twists on nostalgic Asian childhood treats. Her most recent lineup included Hojicha Strawberry Mochi, Creme Brûlée Taro Milk Tea, and Black Sesame Matcha Mochi.
The one that started it all?
Her bolobao inspired cookie: butter cookie base, homemade Taiwanese-style pineapple cake jam filling, topped with a golden cookie crust scored to look like a pineapple.
Katlyn operates out of her cozy home kitchen and popups at cafes and spaces around the city. She also does regular cookie box drops on Hotplate featuring a rotating assortment of 6 cookies.
